Lesson 1: A Shepherd Finds His Lost Sheep
Luke 15:4-7; Psalm 23—Jesus tells the parable of the shepherd who searches for one lost sheep even though he has ninety-nine who are safe. Jesus wants everyone to know that God is like the shepherd. He rejoices when one person changes his heart and does what is right.

Lesson 2: A Woman Finds Her Lost Coin
Luke 15:8-10—This parable tells about a woman who loses one of her 10 coins. She cleans her entire house and finds the lost coin. All of her friends are called to join her in celebrating her happiness. Jesus says there is happiness in Heaven when one lost sinner is found. Go and share happiness with others.

Lesson 3: A Father's Son Comes Home
Luke 15:11-24—In this parable a son asks for his inheritance and then wastes it all. Finally, he makes a wise decision when he returns home to his father. The father, who spent his days watching for his son to return home, welcomes the son with open arms and gives a party to share his joy with others. God also forgives and welcomes us with love.

Lesson 4: John Is Happy to See Heaven
John 14:1-4; Revelation 1:9-11; 2:10; 4; 5; 21; 22—John is on an island to keep him from preaching about Jesus. Jesus visits him and tells him to write down everything he sees. John sees the gates of Heaven open and tries to describe the glory and splendor of Heaven.
